Our Mill Today
Our family is the fourth generation of millers.
We use grain grown in protected landscape areas: Welski Landscape Park, Dylewskie Hills Landscape Park and Iława Landscape Park.
Our products are ideal for individual customers who value natural ingredients, as well as bakeries, pastry shops, pizzerias, pasta and dumpling factories, and other food producers using traditional and natural ingredients.
We hold a number of certificates which confirm the high quality of our products combined with the local origin, i.e. "Product Warmia Mazury" and "Culinary Heritage WarmiaMazury" . Additionally, our "Mąka Żytnia z Rynku" (Rye Flour from Rynek) is included in the prestigious List of Traditional Products of the province Warmia-Masuria.
We offer flour in small and large quantities:
->for retail customers, we sell by post / courier, as well as directly from our mill.
->for wholesale customers, depending on the location, we deliver (on pallets) using a truck equipped with a mobile platform; we provide assistance with loading for those who pick up directly from the mill.
History of the Mill
The Mill in Rynek has a rich tradition dating back eight centuries.
It was probably built in 1230, founded by the Teutonic Knights.
Until 1900s, the mill was small, wooden, operated on millstones and was powered by a water wheel.
Only in the 1900s a water turbine was installed. The millstones were replaced with cylindrical mills and it functioned this way until the 1950s.
In the 1950s, it was rebuilt into a brick mill. It was further expanded in the 1990s and we continue to maintain this milling tradition.
